Our rustic country white sourdough derives its delicious flavor from a rise period of over fifteen hours. The sourdough starter used in leavening this bread was brought from le Four Boulangerie in Bonnieux, located in Provence. We met a well-known baker at a farmer’s market, and we were so enamored of the beauty and flavor of his breads that he gave us a piece of his starter to bring back to the U.S.

Sesame Semolina Sourdough
Using a high percentage of semolina flour which is used mostly for pasta, our newest bread uses a wet sourdough levain that intensifies the overall nutty flavor. With the addition of sesame seeds mixed in the dough and covering the exterior, this loaf is quickly catching on as one of Provence’s most authentic artisan breads.
